I just wanted you to know how much I loved yesterday... it was absolutely wonderful. Cooking at Bayan Indah with you and the TAs (Auntie Poh Lin and Justin now want to be your teaching assistants also) is very fun.

I just wanted to drop an email to say thank you very much for the enjoyable class this morning. All of us went home happy and excited about our new skills. My family is already making plans to have a fresh pasta dinner tomorrow night!

I like ...the beautiful garden, simple yet homey ID works, love the wonderful kitchen. I also appreciate the kind help from the TAs during the hecticness of the cooking class. The friendliness of all the staff and Rohani made the entire experience valuable and comfortable, even for people who are novice to cooking.

At first, I had an impression that Rohani was a fierce no-nonsense person, (god only knows how I got that impression!) but I was so glad that she was as witty as they come, and so approachable! I really loved my experience there, and I am sure my wife did as well!

Rohani is a brilliant cooking instructor. Not only does she explain everything in depth but also the reasons of what is done or needs doing. Rohani also has a wicked sense of humour which is lightens the mood during the class. The whole house and garden has been done up with much thought and is just lovely! The five hours spent there certainly felt like a weekend retreat and I didn't want to leave!

I like the ambience, the nature, the house, the cooking class, Rohani with her superb cooking skill and guidance. Excellent team

Rohani was so professional, she obviously loves cooking but at the same time she is very personable and was a total delight to spend time with. She was also able to explain things in a very easy to understand way. The kitchens were fabulous we had every utensil known to man, and once used the utensil was quickly washed and returned! It was such and enjoyable experience. I would absolutely return to Bayan Indah (my friends and I have already been talking about a return visit) - we\'d love to do some deserts and some noodle dishes. It was such a gorgeous setting. We learnt some really crucial aspects to Malaysian cooking, but most of all we now have the confidence to cook a great curry for our friends and family..

I liked everything. The staff were great - really friendly and helpful. Rohani was lovely and shared lots of tips. The quality of ingredients was excellent and the whole day was set up so that you would succeed.

I like ...the beautiful and unique environment. Relaxing and away from the stress. The staff are fantastic, respectful and very passionate about the smallest things they do. I feel blessed to see that this wonderful service is available in Malaysia with great people.

I like the comfy settings, it was very pleasant, comfortable and felt just like home... It was unlike walking into a hotel, with all the ID setups making a person feel that whilst the designs is beautiful, it is not meant to be "used". Bayan Indah gave the impression that we can be at ease with Rohani and her staffs. I love every moment I was there!!

The staff - fantastic group of people running the cooking class that made all of us feel welcome and a part of a family. It was a great experience.

We attended as a team building group event and it was very much a success. The location, the facilities, the staff, and the food were all fabulous and created an environment where the team were are able to both work together as a team outside of the office environment and to socialise without office issues coming into play. I highly recommend this as a great team building option for any organisation.

1) Bayan Indah is a sanctuary. I just love the fact that it has a kampung feel despite located just few minutes outside of KL
2) The hands on cooking class was totally enjoyable. Rohani, you are a kind of person who just loves entertaining people and we love having you around. You and your assistance (i could only remember winnie) were very helpful and always around to entertain our silly questions.
3) The so called light lunch that you served was so SEDAP especially ikan pari!

Thank you for making my 60th a truly special celebration. Everyone had a great time, including Hanah, who said she did like the dishes a lot. It was not only a fun evening, but also a great learning experience for all. We all enjoyed the fruits of our cooking and baking.. The bomb alaska was very yummy and impressive indeed! You have many new fans now.

The facilities were top notch - very enjoyable day in a professional kitchen surrounded by calming and lush greenery! Would highly recommend as a fun half day activity with a friend or as a team bonding exercise.

Thank you for providing the best Christmas present I could have given Toria. She was already a good, adventurous cook. Through your course she has now taken herself up to another level, and I am the main beneficiary. Wow! how good is that.

I've just got back to the UK, so this is my first opportunity to say thank you, to yourself and your team, for a wonderful two days at Bayan Indah. I learnt so much, and met some really inspiring people in your classes. I will definitely be recommending Bayan Indah to friends and family, and can't wait to start cooking recipes from the two days, and from your books. Please can you thank Joyce for the taxi arrangements, it worked out perfectly!

Very welcoming arrival, great food, facilities exceptionally clean, genuinely friendly staff, great food, did I mention the food! We stayyed in Kuantan suite, loved it. Enjoyed the noodles class, have practiced many times since on family.

I liked the facilities, the precise instructions given, the army of help if we had issues or questions, and the suggestions of how to save something if it went wrong. My cooking class was a true highlight of my visit to Malaysia.

I loved everything: the comfortable facilities, the friendly and hospitable staff, the delicious food and ofcourse the excellent classes.

I think everything was perfect. I wish I could have stayed longer. Thanks for everything. Bayan Indah is truly special.

I liked our talk on the various spices. Most of all I liked actually cooking the food and the instruction we received was fabulous. I really enjoyed myself in your gracious guest house. My thanks to Rohani and Joyce for rescuing my mistakes. I have today made dhal, vegetable only and it looks as though it will be good.

I thought it all very good and of a high standard I have already recommended you to various friends amongst the teaching staff at GIS and a couple have shown interest. Thank you very much, it has been a highlight of my holiday.

I like the slope near Bayan Indah we discovered, that was very exciting too ;) When I was there, I can feel Bayan Indah is built and manage with much love and passion, definitely feel homely. I love hearing your stories - I guess that is why we missed some instructions on the sweet potato steam cake - that was hilarious. Rohani, keep up your love for Bayan Indah, it will grow greater in near future ;)

I attended the cooking class and it was informative and extremely enjoyable. The facilities were great and most importantly, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Rohani is a great teacher and Joyce is a pleasure to work with. I look forward to going back to Bayan Indah for another cooking class!

I enjoyed cooking a malaysian meal in a tropical and friendly location, I also appreciated the knowledge and techniques shared by Jelani.

I like how flexible things are in the arrangement; from how you accommodated my request for it to be a surprise birthday treat to us only eating seafood to my queries on your rooms. It all felt very personable and special. Keep it that way!

I've always enjoyed the hands-on classes and each time I come away learning something new, be it cooking a new dish or a tip in doing things differently and effectively. (The most recent one is how to remove the food from a v hot steamer :))

Beautiful relaxed location and you instantly make people feel at home in your house. Liked the decor so much, I have just bought some pictures from your artist friend in Penang!

I like your kitchen, and I love the surroundings - nature, your herb garden, all the greenery and even the fish pond. I think your classes are fabulous.

Its the ambience surrounding the place with greeneries, its like being in a home within the jungle. The air was refreshing too and the Cheesecake too, compliments to the chef! Cheers!

Thanks Rohani for two fantastic classes (if I may also speak for my sister and husband who took the second class without me). We all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly, and gained some insights into cooking curries and nonya dishes in the process. Bayan Indah has a wonderful setting and we loved the serenity in the midst of the hustle and bustle of KL. Nai also enjoyed his tour of the garden which Winnie gave him while the others were finishing up with cooking. We would love to stay one day, for at least a day or two.

Rohani & team - they made me feel welcomed and "at home"! Since my first cooking lesson, I've begun a journey of culinary cooking exploration and i'm thoroughly enjoying it!

The environment and the kitchen, both are well kept and well run and the environment tranquil, oh, and not forgetting the teacher, who is quite entertaining and has an obvious natural passion for all things culinary! :-)

The greenery, quiet, back to nature surrounding, yet with modern facilities. I like the open concept and particularly impressed with the seminar room\'s washroom and the nice food presentation. The personal attention and bubbly personalities from Rohani and Winnie were great.

The attention and support from not just one staff, but many staff. Preparation of ingredients so things are straight-forward when we arrived. Friendly laid back atmosphere. Incredibly clean and beautiful, attractive furnishings and surroundings.

I would love to go again and bring more people. However, I am not sure when and how I would be back there. If I am back in KL with friends, though, I have no doubt I will go there to cook again.

Just a quick note to thank you for a wonderful experience making fabulous desserts last Sunday. This was my first experience at a cooking class, and I found it to be everything I hoped for; interactive, informative, relaxed and most of all FUN! I shall certainly keep my eye on your calendar and look out for dishes that tug at my stomach strings!
